The “Istoriya – History” is among the most authoritative humanities academic journals in Bulgaria. Over the years the journal has attracted the attention of scholars, teachers, and the wide readership in the country and abroad.

Authors in the journal are both established scientists from Bulgaria and abroad, as well as young researchers who present the results of their first scientific research.

The Editorial Board of the “Istoriya -History” journal has always applied clearly stated scientific criteria in articles selection and publication process. The goal is to expand the journal readership in Bulgaria and abroad, and to meet the high requirements of global databases.
