About the author
Prof. Dr. Eng. Dimo Stoilov is a scientist with numerous researches and publications in the fields of electric power networks and systems, the structure and efficiency of electricity markets, planning, management and organization of national energy industry in contemporary conditions. He worked as an expert in optimization of operation modes at the Central Dispatch entity of the Bulgarian electrictric power system. He is currently responsible for the courses in the field of "Electric power networks and systems" for students in bachelor, master and PhD degree programs at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and at the French Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Technical University – Sofia. He also leads the research group in "System analysis and planning of the energy industry" at the Institute for nuclear researches and nuclear energy (INRNE) at the Bulgarian academy of sciences.
