The collection "Vasil Levski. From the Curves of Literary Iconography" is very intriguing and purposefully provokes contemporary literary and historiographical thinking and talking about Vasil Levski. Words about him and his work will never suffice, nor exhaust his significance and greatness. These words have turned the image of the Apostle into an icon, a symbol of the Bulgarian spirit despite his ecclesiastical non-canonicality. The subject has motivated the research interest of scientists from prestigious institutions all over the world who have sought to explain and at the same time to problematize the complex and ambiguous processes that lead to the Apostle's literary iconography. This talk about the literary and historiographical image of Levski is extremely important. It also carries a special symbolic signification despite its possible problematic nature, because it preserves in and through itself the memory of his miraculous work. The preservation and transmission of this memory is a guarantee for the Bulgarian future as a people and a nation.
