Absract. The text commemorates the centenary of the publication of the Vezni Almanac, a literary collection edited by Geo Milev. The article demonstrates that the conceptual content of the almanac and its tendency towards a synthesis of the arts went beyond the national context and joined the international tendencies of the era (anti-traditionalism, anti-mimeticism, primordiality, syntheticism, humanism, etc.). Geo Milev‘s almanac is also considered in the context of certain Slavic literatures and cultures, with particular emphasis on its similarity to the almanac The Blue Rider, published by Wassily Kandinsky and Franz Marc.
