Abstract. The construction of a communicative taxonomy based on educational goals, which define different levels in the development of the group communicative process, is presented. The role-making technique fundamental to learning-based approaches in the context of educational drama and theater was used. The proposed framework for constructing a working version of a communicative taxonomy is modeled after Ringer and Gillis (1995). Qualitative research was conducted with experts in the fields of educational drama, theatre, learning, communication and personal development. On the basis of their shared observations, analysis and evaluations, a communicative taxonomy has been constructed, which, combining cognitive, affective and psycho-motor goals, will be able to be used as an educational resource in various humanitarian areas of university education. The focus is on the development of the communicative competence of future teachers and social workers.
