Abstract. The research is a new perspective on the components of political pedagogy in the understandings and activities of Stefan Stambolov. It is proven that he updates his national politics with the values of modern education and elevates pedagogy into a practical science of social and cultural change, and the national school into the real dynamic factor of spirituality in post-liberation Bulgaria.
