Information and Communication Technologies – a Contemporary Tool for Education

Abstract. The research presents the advantages of using information and communication technologies in education. New applications are described which help in easier learning of the educational material. The opportunities that ICT provide for presenting information in an interesting way to motivate students are presented. Information and communication technologies (ICT) are an essential part of our daily lives. They have entered education at a very fast rate. School education has also changed in a short time. Teachers aim to use new methods and information and communication technologies to arouse students' interest in the educational process.
