Abstract. Thomas Jefferson Second English Language School has been a Google Reference School since 2018. All teachers successfully integrate traditional and interactive methods of teaching. The effective use of Google Instruments for education in the classroom is becoming more and more common, thus enhancing the process of teaching of every subject in our high school.
The article describes an open lesson as part of the activities in the National Program Innovation in Action in April 2023. Both traditional and interactive methods of teaching are utilised: a short lecture followed by a discussion, as well as group and project work respectively, with students using a few basic Google Instruments, which have become an inseparable part of the English language teaching. The open class was attended by colleagues and students from Vidin, Blagoevgrad and Samokov.
