Abstract. The problems related to the level of language preparation and culture of the regular and part time students in the pedagogy degree course from Sofia university “St. Kl. Ohridski’’
as potential future primary teachers are discussed in the article. The analysis is based on a test study data from a research made in
February-May 2022. The conclusions and generalizations from the analysis are
focused on the further improvement of the students’ language preparation.
