Absract. In this article, an attempt is made to describe John Locke's views on discipline. His autobiography and pedagogical views are briefly presented. In the context of John Locke's disciplinary paradigm, answers have been sought to the questions: When should child discipline begin? What rewards and punishments should the educator use in this process? What are the prizes given for? Is it necessary and in which cases to use corporal punishment? What is the role of parents in
disciplining children?
