Absract. The article is a fist attempt at present the correspondence fund of the Yurukovi family, with the purpose of presenting its basic information and general theme in the context of their contribution to bulgarian publishing in the beginning of the 20th century. The documentary evidence is related to their family’s publishing business and in particular to the sequence “Tapestry of famous contemporary novels” which has not been previously made public in scientific literature. The epistological basis allowed us to reconstruct the roles of the most “valuable and prolific contributors” of their publishing house – the family members of the
Yurukovi, who have not been previously investigated. More detail is added to the
general publishing and book sales landscape in Bulgaria during that period, based
on the newly presented facts.
