Absract. The right to education is a constitutional right of every citizen of the Republic of Bulgaria, including children with special educational needs. Practice shows that the implementation of the inclusive process in educational institutions to support children with special educational needs goes through a number of challenges, but leads to successful results. Through a survey, the opinion of 140 respondents (practicing teachers and students of pedagogic specialties) was analyzed in order to
examine their point of view regarding the observance, respectively the violation of
the right to education of the children with special educational needs. It turns out,
unfortunately, that pedagogical professionals, who have a key role in the inclusion of children with special educational needs in school, do not always protect these
rights.
